The organization is run entirely by volunteers and has a presence throughout Germany. Their mission is to provide Americans living in Germany a voice in their government.

The goal of the Democrats Abroad Germany Munich Southern Bavaria Chapter is to provide Americans in and around Munich with the opportunity to connect with other Democrats, learn about the Democratic Party platform, and get involved in the political process.
